To provide a challenging and supportive learning environment that fosters high expectations in moral values, character development, leadership skills, social growth and intellectual development that helps form a catalyst for the success of every student
Academic Innovation, School Leadership and Parental Involvement are essential in establishing and improving enduring academic standards for primary and secondary educational institutions. The fullest development of our students will occur through rigorous academics, meaningful community service and leadership development in a collaborative environment. Charter schools have the ability to encourage and inspire such opportunities. St.Cloud Preparatory Board Members invite you to become a part of St.Cloud’s rich and student-centered approach toward learning. We look forward to having you become part of our family and invite you and your friends to participate.
Additionally, in order to minimize any traffic impact caused by the school and ensure that the school is available to serve the residents of the county where the school is located, the Governing Board of the charter school may elect to limit the enrollment process to target students residing within a reasonable distance of the school as provided under 1002.33(10)(e)F.S.
RAINY DAY DISMISSAL
This is the time of year when weather can impact our regular dismissal process. Please be aware of the following ways our dismissal process may be modified due to weather conditions:
If there is only rain (no lightning), dismissal will typically follow the normal process. Walkers may be released a few minutes early if radar indicates heavier showers are headed our way.
If there is heavy rain, a tornado, and/or lightning, our alternate dismissal plan will be put into place.
- Students and teachers will remain in their building.
- Parents that wish to pick up their child MUST check them out in the front office.
- Parents must have photo ID in order to pick up students and may only pick up students for whom they are listed on the child's emergency contacts.
- Staff members will bring student(s) to the parent.
- The car line will cease operations if lightning is in the area and will resume once the threat of lightning has subsided.
Please keep in mind that our primary goal is student safety. We do attempt to follow our normal dismissal process whenever it is safe to do so. Decisions about dismissal are made right up until dismissal begins since our weather can be unpredictable, so we cannot alert parents in advance when we will be enacting our alternative dismissal process. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of people representing various segments of the community–parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, business/ industry people and other interested community members. The purpose of a SAC is to assist in the preparation and evaluation (developing and evaluating) of the results of the school improvement plan.
"The whole point of school improvement is data-driven decision making. The process is SUPPOSED to be fairly simple and straight forward: The SAC reviews relevant data (which is much more than test scores), identifies problem areas, develops improvement strategies, monitors their implementation, and then starts the whole process over when the next round of data is available."
This is NOT a PTA group and is solely focused on improving school academics, attendance, etc. Community members, teachers, parents, and students grades 6-12 are invited to join to positively impact St. Cloud Prep.
